Irish Woodsball League

The Irish Woodsball League (IWL) is a woodsball league held in Ireland.[1] The IWL was founded in 2010 to accommodate the ever growing sport of woodsball in Ireland. Teams play over four legs using a seven man format. Registration was open to any team of seven players or more (capped at 12 players) and was governed by a full set of rules.[2]

The IWL and its teams have attracted sponsorship from several manufacturers and distributors of paintball equipment. Airdrop Paintball, Irish paintball supply and Just Paintball.

2011: Battlebridge in Carrick on Shannon, Spec Ops in Borris, Co. Carlow and Rapid Fire in Maganey, Co. Kildare.

2010: Battlebridge in Carrick on Shannon, County Roscommon and Frontier paintball in Bray, County Wicklow
